Sewing Bias Seams.
The fashion today is very much “bias”. So many designs are cut on the bias and can be very flattering. Usually if a garment is cut on the bias then you go down a size to what you normally wear to get that nice fit. When you are sewing bias seams to get them sitting right and achieve a pucker fr*ee finish, join the two bias edges of the seam and holding the fabric in the front and at the back of the presser foot as you feed the seam through, stretch gently as you stitch. This lets the seam give as you sew and it will relax into a smooth seam when you are finished.
